Sealed proposals will be received online via PennBid (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com) until 10:00 AM prevailing time April 24 2025. After the bid opening a public notice will be issued via PennBid containing any available bid results.
CONTRACT R001-26 On Site Dewatering of Non Hazardous
Sludge located at the McKeesport Water
Treatment Plant for ONE Spring Cleaning.
Copies of bidding forms specifications and other contract documents will be on available at no cost on the PennBid website. Bidders shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents via the “Vendor Discussion” tab in Messages on PennBid.
Vendors who are awarded contracts are assessed a variable award fee based on the type of contract. Fixed Fee Contracts award fee in 1/3% (.0033) of the initial contract award amount. The award fee shall be no less than $100 and no greater than $5000.
All prospective bidders must attend a mandatory viewing of the work sites with an authorized representative of the Authority before submission of a bid. A representative of the Authority will be available at the Water Treatment Plant Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Contact Dave Reese at (724) 755-5975 office or 724-672-5063 (cell) to arrange an appointment.
Any bid not submitted under the above conditions will be rejected.
The Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County reserves the right to waive any informality in any bid received to reject any bids or to accept any bid it deems in its best interest.
