ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

 

Sealed bids will be received for Mechanical and Electrical Construction for Facility Improvements at the Central Westmoreland Career & Technology Center located at 240 Arona Road New Stanton PA 15672 on or before May 22 2025 until 10:00 A.M. local prevailing time and then will be publicly opened and read aloud.

 

Bids may be mailed to the Central Westmoreland Career & Technology Center at the above address and will be considered if received prior to the scheduled time for the bid opening. The Bidder assumes responsibility for timely delivery. Emails and fax transmissions will not be accepted.

 

Copies of the required Contract Documents and Drawings must be purchased from the issuing office Sleighter Design 1060 Eberly Way Lemont Furnace PA 15456 for $225.00 for a contract set $50 for a Digital set of PDFs (non-refundable).

 

Each bid shall be accompanied by security in the form of a certified check or bid bond payable to the Central Westmoreland County Career & Technical Institute in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid.

 

A pre-bid meeting will be held at the Central Westmoreland Career & Technology Center located at 240 Arona Road New Stanton PA 15672 at 10:00 am on Tuesday May 13 2025.

 

Attention is called to the fact that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race color religion sex or national origin.

 

Attention is called to the fact that the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project.

 

The Owner reserves the right which is understood and agreed to by all bidders to reject all bids to waive any and all informalities in the bids and to refuse to consider non-conforming non-responsive or conditional bids.

 

All bids shall remain irrevocable for sixty (60) days after the actual date of the bid opening.
