OFFICIAL INVITATION TO BID
The Greater Latrobe School District is soliciting sealed bids for the following Project in the form of single prime lump sum contract:
Greater Latrobe School District – Junior High School Roof & Wall Improvements
Sealed Bids shall be delivered to Greater Latrobe School District at 1816 Lincoln Avenue, Latrobe PA 15650 no later than 2:00PM local time on May 23, 2025, at which time Bids will be publicly opened and read. The bid envelope should be clearly marked with “SEALED BID-Contract Name”.
The Project consists of roof replacement and metal wall panel replacement.
A pre-bid conference will be held on May 15, 2025, at 2:00PM, at Center for Student Creativity, Greater Latrobe Senior High School, 131 High School Rd., Latrobe, PA 15650. After the Pre-Bid Conference, the Bidders will be permitted to inspect the project site by guided tour. Attendance is recommended but not mandatory.
All bids shall conform to the Contract Documents provided by SHP Design, LLC. Electronic Contract Documents will be available on or after May 2, 2025, and may be obtained for free via e-mailed link upon request to Josh Predovich, jpredovich@shp.com .
Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of 10-percent of the base bid PLUS any Add Alternates in the form of a certified check or bid bond made payable to Greater Latrobe School District.
The School District reserves the right to waive any informality in, or to reject, any or all, or parts of any and all bids. No bids may be withdrawn for at least 60-days, subsequent to the opening of bids, without the consent of the Greater Latrobe School District.
