GOVERNMENT NOTICE

 

Take notice that Council of the City of Greensburg shall hold a public hearing on June 9 2025 at 6:00 PM immediately prior to the regularly scheduled Council meeting at Greensburg Council Chambers 2nd floor Greensburg City Hall 416 South Main Street Greensburg PA 15601. The purpose of the hearing is to address the ordinance entitled “Amending the Greensburg Zoning Code Regarding Cultivation Related Uses in Residential Zone Districts.” At said June 9 meeting of Council Council may also take action on said ordinance which is summarized as follows:

 

The proposed ordinance would in Section 1 replace §265-12(B) with a new subsection defining and permitting certain cultivation related uses; Section 2 repeal conflicting ordinances and resolutions; Section 3 empower City officials to carry forth the provisions of the ordinance; and Section 4 provide that the ordinance takes effect immediately.

 

True and correct copies of the proposed ordinance are file and may be examined or copied at the Greensburg City Office 416 S. Main St. Greensburg PA 15601 8AM – 4PM M-F and at the Westmoreland County Law Library 2 N. Main St. Suite 202 Greensburg PA 15601 8:30AM – 4PM M-F.
