FAIRVIEW ELEMENTARY SCHOOL WINDOW REPLACEMENT PROJECT
The Fox Chapel Area School District is receiving Bids on the following Contract:
General Construction Contract Number – 2105
The Fox Chapel Area School District, the Owner, will receive separate sealed Bids for the above Construction Contract on the above Project until the time and date and at the place scheduled below. The Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud in the Staff Development Room at the District Administrative Offices. The clock in the District Administrative Offices will determine the Prevailing Time for the Receipt of Bids. The District invites any interested parties to attend.

All prime bidders are REQUIRED to buy the full set of plans and specifications, which are being distributed with 24 hours' prior notice by Ditto (www.dittoplanroom.com), 1020 Ridge Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15233, 412-231-7700. Documents will be distributed when payment in full plus tax and shipping (non-refundable) is received by Ditto. A bidder must obtain Bidding Documents from Ditto to be considered a bona fide bidder. Free examination of said documents is available at the office of Canzian/Johnston & Associates LLC and Pennsylvania Builders Exchange.
A MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 10 a.m. on June 26, 2025, at Fairview Elementary School, 738 Dorseyville Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15238. After the Pre-Bid Conference, the Bidders will be permitted to inspect the building and site by a guided tour. Additional site visits may be arranged in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders (AIA Document A201-2017).
A Bid Security Form in the amount of 10 percent of the Base Bid, Bidder’s Qualification, and Non-Collusion Affidavit must accompany each Bid, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in any Bid received.
This Project is financed in part by a grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Commonwealth Financing Authority. Bidders are hereby notified that this project is subject to prevailing wage rates; the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project.
