HEMPFIELD TOWNSHIP
ZONING HEARING BOARD PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the Hempfield Township Zoning Hearing Board shall hold a special meeting for general business purposes and also to conduct a public hearing at the Hempfield Township Municipal Building beginning at 6:00 pm Tuesday July 8 2025 on the following:
1. (Appeal No. ZHB-25-10) – A request of Rick Hartman 4296 West 196th Street Fairview Park Ohio 44126 on behalf of Jon Salinas for the following:
i. A special exception as described in Chapter 87-185 J. to permit a telecommunication Tower.
ii. A variance of Chapter 87-185 J. 9 to permit the proposed structures height of 195 feet.
The property is Tax Map # 50-40-00-0-016. The address is 111 Hunker Waltz Mill Road Hunker PA 15639. The property is zoned Agricultural (A).
2. (Appeal No. ZHB-25-11) – A request of Matt Keith 45 Howard Ridge Washington PA 15301 for the following variances relating to Chapter 87 Table 3 “Bulk and Area Standards for Principal Building or Structures” for the construction of multiple duplex units:
i. A reduction of the lot size to 5000 sq. ft. (all proposed units)
ii. A reduction of the front setback to 20 feet. (all proposed units)
iii. A reduction of the side setback to 16 feet. (all proposed units)
iv. A reduction of the rear setback to 10 feet. (Two proposed units)
The property is Tax Map # 50-38-00-0-002. This property is located off of Mechling Road but does not have an address. The property is zoned Corridor Residential (CR).
All persons wishing to be heard are invited to be present. Written statements will be accepted and incorporated in the minutes of the hearings. The plans and applications for these requests are on file in the office of the Zoning Officer Hempfield Township Municipal Building 1132 Woodward Drive Greensburg PA and may be examined by those interested at any time prior to the date of the hearings between the hours of 7:30 am and 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.
The above is in accordance with the provisions of the Hempfield Township Zoning Ordinance.
