ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

 

Sealed Bids for Harrison City Trunkline Expansion – Contract No. C000085887: will be received by Penn Township Sewage Authority (Owner) at its offices located at 1032 Nike Site Road Irwin PA 15642 until 10:00 A.M. local time on July 29 2025 at which time the bids will be publicly opened.

 

Contract Description:

Under this Contract the Contractor shall furnish all materials equipment supplies labor and appurtenances required for:

 

The Harrison City Trunkline Expansion Project which includes the installation of 3000 LF of 24” Sanitary Sewer 24 precast manholes 1 36” bore 4 stream crossings miscellaneous appurtenant items and other work as indicated by the Contract Specifications.

 

The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: The EADS Group Inc. 11045 Parker Drive North Huntingdon PA 15642. Telephone No. (412) 754-0801. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.

 

To obtain copies of the Bidding Documents call (412) 754-0801 between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. Monday thru Friday or email lmeyerholz@eadsgroup.com. Electronic versions of the Bidding Documents are available for the non-refundable fee of fifty-three dollars ($53.00). Printed versions of the Bidding Documents are available for the non-refundable fee of one hundred six dollars ($106.00). Copies of the Contract Documents can be mailed to prospective Bidders upon receipt of the $106.00 non-refundable fee plus a non-refundable $20.00 mailing fee. Both prices include 6% Pennsylvania Sales Tax. Checks shall be payable to “The EADS Group Inc.”.

 

A pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 A.M. local time on July 15 2025 at the project site. Attendance is not mandatory but is highly encouraged.

 

Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids including without limitation nonconforming nonresponsive unbalanced or conditional Bids. Owner also reserves the right to waive all minor informalities not involving price time or changes in the Work. The successful Bidder(s) will be required to fully complete all work within One Hundred Fifty (150) calendar days as indicated by the Owner in the written Notice to Proceed.

 

Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project.

 

This Project was financed in part by a grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Commonwealth Financing Authority.

 

Bidders are encouraged to inspect the project area prior to submitting a bid.
