TOWNSHIP OF DONEGAL
NOTICE is hereby given that on Monday July 14 2025 at a meeting scheduled for 5:00 pm at the Donegal Township Offices 137 Hoffers Lane Jones Mills PA 15646 the officers of Donegal Township Westmoreland County Pennsylvania will act on an Ordinance (of which this Notice is a summary) authorizing the imposition of fees in accordance with Act 57 relating to the access and connection to the public sanitary sewer facilities to be constructed in a portion of Donegal Township. If enacted the Ordinance will establish a total Act 537 fee in the amount of $3134.80 which includes fees for Connection Customer Facilities Capacity Distribution System Special Purpose and Reimbursement. Further the Ordinance establishes an initial monthly sewer rate charge per EDU of $41.00 for any quantity up to 2000 gallons per month along with an additional charge of $7.00/per 1000 gallons of water usage thereafter.
A copy of the full text of the proposed Ordinance may be examined by any citizen in the office of the Secretary of Donegal Township at the office address identified above on any business day (except Saturdays and Sundays) between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. prevailing time.
