ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Bids for the Mount Pleasant Area School District Athletic Field Stormwater Conveyance Reconfiguration Project—West Side will be received by the Mount Pleasant Area School District online via PennBID until 10:00 AM local time on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at which time the bids received will be opened electronically and posted on PennBID’s website.
The new stormwater system project reconfigures stormwater runoff conveyance from the west side parking lot to the drainage area on the west side of the athletic field. The project includes installing a new stormwater manhole, associated stormwater conveyance piping, cutting and capping existing stormwater conveyance piping, trench excavation and trench preparation for new stormwater conveyance piping, a riprap apron, construction erosion and sediment control, grading, and site restoration through landscaping and seeding. Please refer to drawings for additional information.
Bids will be received for a single prime contract. All documents and solicitation details are available online at no cost on PennBID—https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com. Bids shall be accepted online through the PennBID Program. Additional bidding requirements are found in Section 00 21 13, “Instructions to Bidders,” of the Bidding Documents. All bidders must submit bid security of a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the base bid.
All bids shall be irrevocable for 60 days after the bid opening date as provided by the Act of November 26, 1978 (P.L. 1309, No. 317), as amended by the Act of December 12, 1994 (P.L. 1042, No. 142).
