SOUTH HUNTINGDON
TOWNSHIP BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS
NOTICE is hereby given of the intention of the South Huntingdon Township Board of Supervisors to consider and if appropriate adopt the following Ordinance at the regular monthly meeting of the Board of Supervisors to be held on Thursday July 17 2025 beginning at 3:00 PM at the South Huntingdon Township Municipal Offices 75 Supervisor Drive West Newton PA 15089.
The Ordinance proposes to amend the current non-uniform pension plan being administered by the Pennsylvania Municipal Retirement System to allow for a lump sum payment option as an optional retirement benefit for all active members as of October 1 2025.
A copy of said Ordinance is available to be examined without charge or a copy of the same for a fee of twenty-five ($0.25) cents per page at the South Huntingdon Township Municipal Offices at the address set forth above during regular business hours. Further a copy of said Ordinance is available at the office of the Greensburg Tribune-Review 622 Cabin Hill Drive Greensburg PA 15601 and at the Westmoreland County Law Library Second Floor Westmoreland County Courthouse Greensburg Pennsylvania.
