LEGAL NOTICE
Sealed proposals for the Greenhouse Improvements 2025 project will be received until 3:00 pm E.S.T. September 24, 2025, by the Derry Area School District, Business Administrator/Board Secretary, 982 N. Chestnut Street, Derry, Pennsylvania 15627.
Proposals will be publicly opened and recorded on September 24, 2025, at 3:00 pm E.S.T. The bid will be awarded or rejected within 30 days from the day of opening. Specifications are available on the district website (dasd.us), or email to Scott Chappell (schappell@dasd.us), Business Administrator/Board Secretary. Project questions should be directed to Ken Main, Director of Facilities, Grounds and Operations, 724-694-1401 Ext. 1415. The "bidder" must attend the pre-bid site visit held on September 3, 2025, at 3:30 pm E.S.T. in the District Administration Building.
The proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total proposal and submitted in a sealed envelope marked "Greenhouse Improvements 2025" to the above address. No proposal may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the date of opening.
The School Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, or to award the contract which, in their judgment, will best serve the interest of the DASD.
