Notice is hereby given that the Hempfield Township Zoning Hearing Board shall hold a special meeting for general business purposes and also to conduct a public hearing at the Hempfield Township Municipal Building beginning at 6:00 pm Tuesday September 9 2025 on the following:
1. (Appeal No. ZHB-25-13) – A request of Ronald Mellinger 302 South Urania Avenue Greensburg PA 15601 for a variance to Article XXX Section 87-210 (B). Definitions of manufactured home and dwelling unit minimum of 600 square feet to allow a dwelling of 400 square feet to be placed on lot. The property is Tax Map # 50-29-00-0-199. The address is 16 Black Cherry Lane Greensburg PA 15601. The property is zoned Suburban Residential (SR).
All persons wishing to be heard are invited to be present. Written statements will be accepted and incorporated in the minutes of the hearings. The plans and applications for these requests are on file in the office of the Zoning Officer Hempfield Township Municipal Building 1132 Woodward Drive Greensburg PA and may be examined by those interested at any time prior to the date of the hearings between the hours of 7:30 am and 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.
