The Fox Chapel Area School District is receiving Bids on the following         Contract:

 

FOX CHAPEL AREA HIGH SCHOOL TENNIS COURT

RENOVATIONS PROJECT

 

The Fox Chapel Area School District, the Owner, will receive separate sealed Bids for the above Construction Contract on the above Project until the time and date and at the place scheduled below. The Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud in the Administrative Offices Conference Room at the District Administrative Offices. The clock in the District Administrative Offices will determine the Prevailing Time for the Receipt of Bids. The District invites any interested parties to attend.

Proposals shall be delivered in a sealed envelope and clearly marked on the outside with the words "FOX CHAPEL AREA HIGH SCHOOL TENNIS COURT RENOVATIONS PROJECT.” EMAILS ARE NOT ACCEPTED AS A FORM OF SUBMISSION.

 

Electronic copies of the Bidding Documents will be available on Monday,       October 6, 2025, from the office of the Architect, McKinley Architecture and Engineering, 910 Sheraton Drive, Suite 200, Mars, PA 16046, telephone 724-719-6975; Bidding Documents are being issued in electronic format (PDF) only and will be sent by the Architect to interested parties via file transfer email download only. Only full sets of the Bidding Documents will be issued by the Architect. All Bidding Document requests for information, substitution requests and correspondence shall be submitted in writing and directed to the Architect’s administrative account, email projects@mckinleydelivers.com. Addenda will be issued by the Architect to registered bidding document holders only, who will automatically receive all addenda in electronic format (PDF) via file transfer email.

 

A MANDATORY, Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 10 a.m. on October 14, 2025, at the tennis courts located at Fox Chapel Area High School, 611 Field Club Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15238.

 

Offices of McKinley Architecture and Engineering and Fox Chapel Area School District shall field all questions by email only. Please email all questions to be directed to projects@mckinleydelivers.com. (Bidding Request for FCAHS Tennis shall be in subject line.)

 

All questions must be submitted to the email address provided above; phone calls shall warrant parties subject to rejection of bidding. Questions close on October 15 at 2 p.m.

 

Proposals to receive consideration must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bidder's Bond from a Surety Company authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, made to the order of the Fox Chapel Area School District in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Proposal as a guarantee that, if the Proposal is accepted, the successful Bidder will enter into an Agreement within 30 days after Notice of the Award of the Contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, or any part thereof, for any reason, and also reserves the right to waive any informality therein.
