CITY OF GREENSBURG

Please take notice that the following Bills will be introduced at the regular Council Meeting of the Greensburg City Council on the 10th day of November 2025:

Bill No. 8-2025 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GREENSBURG COUNTY OF WESTMORELAND AND COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA FIXING THE TAX RATE FOR CITY PURPOSES FOR THE YEAR 2026. The purpose of Bill No. 8-2025 is to fix the tax rate for the year 2026.

Bill No. 9-2025 - AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 151 KNOWN AS ‘FEES’ OF ORDINANCE NO. 1646 CHANGING AND/OR ADDING CERTAIN FEES AND/OR LANGUAGE FOR CERTAIN CITY SERVICES IN VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS. The purpose of Bill No. 9-2025 is to add and/or delete services and/or fines and fees and to increase and/or decrease fees charged for certain services and/or fines in certain departments of the City of Greensburg.

Bill No. 10-2025 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GREENSBURG FIXING THE NUMBER OF OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF ALL DEPARTMENTS OF THE CITY AND RATES OF COMPENSATION THEREOF FOR THE YEAR 2026. The purpose of Bill No. 10-2025 is to set forth wages for all officers and employees of the City of Greensburg for the year 2026.

Bill No. 11-2025 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GREENSBURG COUNTY OF WESTMORELAND AND COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA APPROPRIATING SPECIFIC SUMS ESTIMATED TO BE REQUIRED FOR SPECIFIC PURPOSES FOR THE CITY GOVERNMENT HEREINAFTER SET FORTH DURING THE YEAR 2026. The purpose of Bill No. 11-2025 is to set forth the proposed budget of the City of Greensburg for the year 2026.

A hearing on the proposed 2025 Budget Bill No. 11 shall also occur on November 10 2025 at 6:00 PM at Council Chambers City Hall Room 204 416 South Main Street Greensburg PA 15601 at which time any interested person will be given an opportunity to be heard. The regularly scheduled meeting of Council shall immediately follow. The Budget will be available for public inspection between November 28 and December 8 2025 at the City Administrator’s Office City Hall Room 101 416 South Main Street Greensburg PA 15601 Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Please take further notice that the above-entitled Bills shall be considered for final enactment and adoption as Ordinances at the regularly scheduled meeting of City Council to be held in Council Chambers at City Hall on Monday December 8 2025 at 6:00 p.m.

True and correct copies of the proposed Ordinances are on file at the City of Greensburg City Hall located at 416 South Main Street Greensburg PA 15601 and may be examined or copied by members of the public during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Copies of the proposed Ordinances are also available for examination or copying at the Westmoreland County Law Library from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
