INVITATION TO BID


Sealed proposals for the Kellywood Stormwater Improvement      Project will be received by the Borough of Plum Allegheny County 2000 Mike Thomas Way Pittsburgh PA 15239 until 10:30 AM on November 24 2025. All proposals must be clearly marked Kellywood Stormwater                      Improvement Project.


The project will include but not      limited to the following: ±200 LF of 24” SLCPP storm sewer installation ±260 LF of 18” SLCPP storm sewer installation Slope Stabilization Stormwater inlet and manhole installation Manhole Grouting and Restoration E&S Control Installation Landscaping and asphalt restoration.


Bidding Documents may be              purchased from KU Resources 117 Sagamore Hill Road Pittsburgh PA 15239 by emailed electronic copy only for $50.00 payable to “KU Resources.” A check in the amount of $50.00 must be sent to KU Resources 117 Sagamore Hill Road Pittsburgh PA 15239 and a scanned copy of the check must be emailed to cprokopik@kuresources.com before bidding documents will be emailed out. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of not less than 10% of the total bid amount made payable to “The Borough of Plum.”

 

Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $1000 per calendar day. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Borough. A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
