ORDINANCE AND 2026
BUDGET NOTICES
Notice is hereby given that Springdale Borough has prepared a 2026 proposed budget which shall be made available for public inspection beginning November 28 2025 until the date of final adoption. The Borough Council will consider adoption of the budget along with the annual tax resolution or ordinance at its voting meeting scheduled for December 16 2025 commencing at 6:00 p.m. at the Borough Building 325 School Street Springdale PA or at any time thereafter up until December 31. In addition Council may consider for enactment three Ordinances at its meeting on December 16 2025 the following of which are summaries:
An Ordinance of the Borough of Springdale Allegheny County Pennsylvania repealing Ordinance 1260 related to the Chief of Police duties.
An Ordinance of the Borough of Springdale Allegheny County Pennsylvania fixing the amount of annual compensation to be received by the Mayor and all Council Members.
An Ordinance of the Borough or Springdale establishing policy regarding the initial water service shut off and reconnection policy for property owners and tenants.
Additionally there will be a vacancy created of either a two year or four year term at the reorganization meeting on January 5 2026. Any qualified elector interested in the vacancy may submit a letter of intent to the Borough Manager via mail hand delivery or email to manager@springdaleborough.com. Letters must be received no later than December 26 2025.
