VERONA BOROUGH NOTICE OF TAX ORDINANCE

 

Notice is hereby given that the Borough of Verona has approved a 2026 proposed budget which is presently available for public inspection through the date of final adoption.  Borough Council will consider adoption of the budget and annual tax ordinance at its regular business meeting on December 9 2025 commencing at 6:00 p.m. at the Borough Building 736 E. Railroad Avenue Verona PA 15147 and the public is invited and encouraged to attend.  The following is a summary of the proposed tax ordinance:

 

An Ordinance of the Borough of Verona Allegheny County Pennsylvania Enacting Fixing and Levying the Real Estate Tax Rate within the Borough of Verona for the Year 2025 at a Rate of 11.7 Mills.

 

Copies of the proposed Ordinance are available pursuant to the requirements of the Pennsylvania Borough Code and may be viewed at the Borough Office at the above address during regular business hours Monday through Friday up and until the date of enactment.  Notice is also given that if you are a person with a disability and wish to attend the meeting scheduled as stated above and require an auxiliary aid service or other accommodation to participate in the proceedings please contact the Borough at (412) 828-8080 to discuss how the Borough may best accommodate your needs.
