NOTICE
TOWNSHIP OF HARRISON
The Board of Commissioners of Harrison Township will hold a public meeting to consider an ordinance levying an ad valorem real estate tax for the purpose of purchasing, maintaining, and operating fire apparatus, said meeting to be held on December 22, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the Harrison Township Municipal Building, One Municipal Drive, Natrona Heights, PA 15065.
SUMMARY
The proposed Ordinance would, effective January 1, 2026, establish and levy an annual ad valorem tax on real property within the Township at a rate of 0.55 mills on each dollar of assessed valuation, or the sum of $0.06 on each hundred dollars of assessed valuation, for the purpose of purchasing, maintaining, and operating fire apparatus. Said Ordinance will also provide for the notice, collection, and deposit of said tax, along with penalties for nonpayment.
A copy of the proposed ordinance may be examined in the office of the Township Secretary, without charge, during regular business hours.
