TAKE NOTICE OF THE INTENT OF IRWIN BOROUGH COUNCIL TO ACT UPON AN ORDINANCE AT A REGULAR MEETING SCHEDULED FOR WEDNESDAY JANUARY 14 2026 AT 6:00 P.M. E.S.T. AT COUNCIL CHAMBERS 1 1st STREET IRWIN PENNSYLVANIA ENTITLED AND SUMMARIZED AS FOLLOWS:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF IRWIN AMENDING THE IRWIN CODE TO ADOPT THE 2021 UNIFORM CONSTRUCTION CODE AND INTERNATIONAL PROPERTY MAINTENANCE CODE
The proposed ordinance in: Section 1 would amend Irwin Code §110-1 to adopt the 2021 Uniform Construction Code; in Section 2 would amend Irwin Code §185-2 to adopt the 2021 International Property Maintenance Code (IPMC); in Section 3 would amend Irwin Code §185-3 to adopt the modified standards of the 2021 IPMC; in Section 4 authorize officials to take action to carry the ordinance into effect; and in Section 5 set an effective date.
