PUBLIC NOTICE

 

The Westmoreland County Transit Authority (WCTA) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide state legislative consultant services for the Authority. The WCTA will enter into an agreement it deems appropriate. The successful proposer(s) will act in this capacity for the period of March 1 2026 through February 28 2027 and may continue on a month-to-month basis not to exceed February 28 2029.

 

A complete Request for Proposal package is available by contacting Alan Blahovec at 724-832-2712 or ablahovec@westmorelandtransit.com. The proposals are due at the office of WCTA no later than 4:00 pm Wednesday February 4 2026. Any proposals received after that date and time will be rejected. WCTA reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to review all proposers for past performance with the WCTA or any other entity for which services have been rendered by the proposer.

 

Proposals will be evaluated and a contract award made based upon (1) Responsiveness of Written Proposals to requirements of RFP; (2) Qualifications and Experience of Proposer; (3) Qualifications and Experience of Personnel assigned to the service; (4) Price.
