ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed bids for the New Stanton Borough 2026 Paving Project, County of Westmoreland, will be received by New Stanton Borough at 318 Paintersville Road, New Stanton, PA 15672, until 4:00 P.M., local prevailing time on Tuesday, March 3, 2026.
The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at the Borough Building. Work will consist of resurfacing of West Post Avenue and Thermo Village Road with a paved ditch in New Stanton Borough; Including 1,659 Tons of 1 1/2” 9.5mm Wearing Course complete in place. Contractor shall use prevailing wages as posted.
The Pre-Bid meeting (NOT MANDATORY) is scheduled for Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the project location of (New Stanton Park) 715 Thermo Village Road, New Stanton, PA 15672.

The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Widmer Engineering Inc., 225 West Crawford Avenue, Connellsville, PA 15425. Electronic PDF documents are available at no charge. Electronic PDF copies, suitable for printing, of the Contract Documents may be viewed and downloaded at the Widmer Engineering website, https://widmerengineering.com under the “Bids” tab. Hard copies will not be distributed.
A Bid Bond of 10% is required to execute the agreement for this Project and Prevailing Wages apply.
Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons who are registered as having obtained Contract Documents.
New Stanton Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to waive any informalities in
the biddings.
Bids may be held by New Stanton Borough for a period of forty five (45) days from the date of opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the Contract.
