ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

 

The Black Lick Volunteer Fire Company is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:

 

Fire Hall Renovations Project

 

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Black Lick Volunteer Fire Company located at 151 Main Street, Blairsville, PA 15717, until May 27, 2026, at 4:00 pm local time. At that time, the Bids received will be read and opened at the Fire Company Meeting.

 

Bids are requested for the following Single Prime Contract:

 

The contract involves HVAC and electrical upgrades along with renovations of the existing hall. Specific work includes the installation of ductless heating and cooling systems, electric service panel upgrades, installation of LED emergency lighting and additional outlet fixtures, along with the completion of miscellaneous framing and finishes to the proposed work area. The selected contractor is expected to coordinate any subcontracted General, Mechanical or Electrical trade's work as required to support the completion of the project.

 

Faxed bids will not be accepted.

 

Scheduling to view the work area or acquisition of the Bid Documents may be completed by calling the Black Lick Volunteer Fire Company at (724) 248-7340.

 

Bidders for this contract shall have completed projects similar in character and scope and will be required to provide with their Bid a Qualifications Statement for prime contractor and all subcontractors.

 

Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons whose names and address are on record with the Black Lick Volunteer Fire Company as having obtained a copy of the Bid Documents.

 

The Black Lick Volunteer Fire Company reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding.
