PUBLIC NOTICE

 

Please be advised that the Adamsburg Borough Council will consider for passage at the Council’s specially scheduled public hearing on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 6:30 P.M. at the Adamsburg Borough Municipal Building, 40 Penn Adamsburg Road, Adamsburg, PA 15611, and receive public comment on proposed Ordinance 2026-2. 

 

The purpose of the Ordinance is to officially vacate the public right-of-way known as the Exit Ramp from U.S. Route 30 West that allows vehicle to enter the lower Eastern end of Adamsburg Borough. This specific Exit Ramp is located to the right side of U.S. Route 30, beginning at the point where it diverges from U.S. Route 30 West and continues until the point where the ramp terminates and merges into Main Street within the Borough of Adamsburg. The vacation is intended to permanently remove the public status of this section of roadway and shall result in the lower eastern end of Main Street becoming a dead end. 

 

The aforesaid serves as a summary of the terms, conditions, and provisions of the proposed Ordinance. A complete copy of the Ordinance is available for review at the office of the newspaper publishing this Notice; the Citizens Law Library located on the Second Floor of the Westmoreland County Courthouse in Greensburg, Pennsylvania; and at the Borough of Adamsburg Secretary's office located at 40 Penn Adamsburg Road, Adamsburg, PA 15611, during normal business hours.
