CNX Gas Company LLC (CNX) provides this notice related to a request for bond release and closure/termination of permit WMGR123SW077 for the Bell Point Temporary AST located at 4581 State Route 819 Apollo PA 15613. A General Permit for the Processing and Beneficial Use of Oil and Gas Liquid Waste was issued for this facility by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection Bureau of Waste Management (PADEP) on September 29 2025. CNX no longer intends to operate under the General Permit at this location and plans to remove all equipment from the location and terminate the General Permit. Bell Township and Westmoreland County may submit comments to PADEP within 60 days of receipt of the request by PADEP. PADEP will also accept comments from the public. Comments regarding the release of the bond may be submitted in writing to PADEP Southwest Regional Bureau of Waste Management at 400 Waterfront Dr. Pittsburgh PA 15222.
