LEGAL NOTICE
The Penn Township Zoning Hearing Board will hold a public hearing Thursday April 9 2026 commencing at 7:00 P.M. The meeting will be held in the Penn Township Municipal Building Meeting Room located at 2001 Municipal Court in Harrison City Pennsylvania Westmoreland County to consider the following request:
1. The application of Club at Blackthorne Property LLC for a variance by estoppel directly related to the Blackthorne Clubhouse independent use and operation. The Variance was filed under Article VIII Section 190-810 of the Zoning Ordinance of Penn Township as amended and all other pertinent sections which apply. The property is located at 1028 Blackthorne Drive Jeannette PA 15644 in Penn Township. Applicable tax map parcel number 55-04-00-0-106. The property is zoned (MDR) Mixed Density Residential and subject to the original Planned Residential Development (PRD) approval.
2. The application of Club at Blackthorne Property LLC for an appeal from decision of zoning officer for a violation notice on the use of the Blackthorne Clubhouse. The Appeal was filed under Article VIII Section 190-808 Subsection C of the Zoning Ordinance of Penn Township as amended and all other pertinent sections which apply. The property is located at 1028 Blackthorne Drive Jeannette PA 15644 in Penn Township. Applicable tax map parcel number 55-04-00-0-106. The property is zoned (MDR) Mixed Density Residential and subject to the original Planned Residential Development (PRD) approval.
3. The continued hearing of Blackthorn Investors LLC for an appeal from decision of zoning officer for the use and occupancy determination of the Blackthorne Clubhouse. Appeal was filed under Article IV Section 190-403 Subsection A-F of the Zoning Ordinance of Penn Township as amended and all other pertinent sections which apply. The property is located at 1028 Blackthorne Drive Jeannette PA 15644 in Penn Township and under named ownership of Club at Blackthorne Property LLC. Applicable tax map parcel number 55-04-00-0-106. The property is zoned (MDR) Mixed Density Residential and subject to the original Planned Residential Development (PRD) approval.
Applications are available for viewing during regular office hours in the Penn Township Zoning Office at 2001 Municipal Court Harrison City Pennsylvania 15636 Westmoreland County. This public notice is a reasonably accurate description of the activity or structure which the applicant wishes to institute or erect. Any interested citizen may attend this hearing.
