PUBLIC NOTICE Pursuant to the Mining Conservation

PUBLIC NOTICE

 

Pursuant to the “Surface Mining Conservation and Reclamation Act” and the “Clean Streams Law,” notice is hereby given that Robindale Energy Service, Inc., doing business at 224 Grange Hall Road, Armagh, PA 15920, has made application to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection for a Bond Release to existing SMP No. 02020201, known as Renton Pile.

 

The existing permit area is 172.0 acres and is situated 3450 feet southeast of the intersection of Renton Road and Clements Road east of Renton, PA, on the property of Coal Valley Sales Corporation and Richard and Shirley McCloskey. The receiving streams for this proposed permit area are an unnamed tributary to Little Plum Creek to Little Plum Creek to Plum Creek to the Allegheny River – WWF.

 

Final bond release of $23,493 is requested for 125.0 acres. The entire site was topsoil and vegetation established. This portion of work was completed in October of 2016. This is a final Stage III bond release request.

 

The Murrysville and New Kensington East, PA, USGS 7 ½ minute topographic maps contain the area described. A copy of the application is available for public inspection at the Allegheny County Conservation District, River Walk Corporate Centre, 33 Terminal Way, Suite 325b, Pittsburgh, PA 15219. Written comments, objections or requests for a public hearing or informal conference may be submitted to the New Stanton District Mining Office of the Department of Environmental Protection, 131 Broadview Road, New Stanton, PA 15672, within thirty (30) days of the final (4th) publication of this notice. The correspondence must include the person’s name, address, telephone number and a brief description as to the nature of the objection.
