ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that separate and sealed Bids will be received by the Township of Indiana on May 11 2026 at the office of the Township 3710 Saxonburg Blvd. Pittsburgh PA 15238 until 12:00 P.M. prevailing time. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time for the following work:

 

2026 PAVING PROJECT - CONTRACT NO. 1-26 Basically consists of milling 245 SY in driveways and paving 24100 SY with 9.5mm Superpave Fine Wearing Course.

 

GUIDERAIL PROJECT - CONTRACT NO. 2-26 Basically consists of installing 2300 feet of guide rail.

 

2026 SHOT & CHIP PROJECT - CONTRACT NO. 3-26 Basically consists of installing 18000 SY of Single Shot and Chip.

 

The contract documents and proposal forms may be examined and sets of drawings specification and contract documents may be obtained at the office of Nichols & Slagle Engineering Inc. Airport Office Park 333 Rouser Road Building 4 Suite 600 Moon Township PA 15108 upon a non-refundable fee of $50.00 for each set of electronic documents or $100.00 for each set of hard copy.

 

A Bid Security comprised of a certified check or bid bond drawn to the order of the Indiana Township executed by the bidder and a surety company satisfactory to the Township in an amount equal to not less than ten percent of the total amount of the Bid must be submitted with the proposal. All proposals shall be submitted in accordance with the INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS BID SUBMISSION.

 

The Township of Indiana hereby reserves the right which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders to reject any or all Bids submitted; and also reserves the right to waive any informality in bids received but any contract work awarded will be to the lowest responsive responsible Bidder for each contract or combination of bids.

 

Except as otherwise provided by law no Bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the Bid Opening.
