PUBLIC NOTICE

 

Notice is hereby given that the Hempfield Township Zoning Hearing Board shall hold a special meeting for general business purposes and also to conduct a public hearing at the Hempfield Township Municipal Building beginning at 6:00 pm, Tuesday, May 12, 2026, on the following:

 

1. (Appeal No. ZHB-26-7) – A request by Mandi Leonard, 272 Wyoming Street, Greensburg, PA 15601, for a variance in accordance with Article XXV section 87-179 B (1)(a) to construct an addition to a single-family residence and for a variance to Chapter 87 Attachment 3, Table 3, “Bulk and Area Standards for Principal Buildings or Structure” for an intrusion into the front yard setback. The property is Tax Map# 50-21-05-0-160. The address is 272 Wyoming Street, Greensburg, PA 15601. The property is zoned Village Residential (VR).

 

2. (Appeal No. ZHB-26-8) – A request by John Cenkner, PO Box 1, Donegal, PA 15628, on behalf of Michael Hoffer for a variance to Article XXIII section 87-159 A (1) to reduce the buffer area required. This property is Tax Map# 50-37-07-0-030. The address is 708 Reynolds Street, Youngwood, PA 15697. The Property is zoned Neighborhood Commercial (NC).

 

All persons wishing to be heard are invited to be present. Written statements will be accepted and incorporated in the minutes of the hearings. The plans and applications for these requests are on file in the office of the Zoning Officer, Hempfield Township Municipal Building, 1132 Woodward Drive, Greensburg, PA, and may be examined by those interested at any time prior to the date of the hearings between the hours of 7:30 am and 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

 

The above is in accordance with the provisions of the Hempfield Township Zoning Ordinance.
