NOTICE

 

Sealed proposals for the following materials will be received by the Township of Salem, Westmoreland County, at 244 Congruity Road, Greensburg, PA 15601.

 

Bids must be clearly marked “BID FOR SALEM TOWNSHIP MAINTENANCE MATERIALS”, and received by 8:00 am on May 18, 2026, and opened at a special meeting of Salem Township Supervisors on May 18, 2026, at 9:00 am.

 

For approximately 6100 Linear ft. (various sizes) of double wall plastic pipe; and approximately 12,000 gal. diesel fuel and approximately 5,000 gal. regular gasoline. (all quantities are more or less.)

 

Proposals must be on forms furnished by the municipality; bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to 10% of the bid, made payable to the municipality; a performance bond or certified check in the amount of 50% of the contract must be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded. The municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.

 

Bids will be awarded at a Meeting of the Salem Township Board of Supervisors on May 20, 2026 – 7:00 pm at the Salem Township Municipal Building, 244 Congruity Road, Greensburg, PA 15601.
