NOTICE

 

Sealed proposals will be received at the office of the Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County located at 124 Park & Pool Road New Stanton PA 15672 (Mailing Address: Post Office Box 730 Greensburg PA 15601) until 10:30 A.M. May 14 2026 prevailing time for the following:

 

CONTRACT R008-27 Contract for Contract Backhoe Services within the Authority’s Service Area for the Period July 1 2026 through June 30 2027.

 

Copies of bidding forms specifications and other contract documents will be on file at the New Stanton Office of the Authority. Specifications may be downloaded from the Authority’s website at www.mawc.org by clicking on the tab “Construction” on the Home Page and then selecting “Bid Specs” in the dropdown menu. Direct all communications to Maria Hamay at phone 724-755-5954 or alternatively at mhamay@mawc.org. There will not be a charge for documents downloaded from the website.

 

Each proposal shall be submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked with Contractor’s name contract number and date and all proposals received will be opened and read at the time and place designated above.

 

Any bid not submitted under the conditions provided herein will be rejected.

 

The Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County reserves the right to waive any informalities in any bid received to reject any bids or to accept any bid or portion of the bid it deems in its best interest.
