ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

 

Sealed Bid Proposals will be            received by the Upper Allegheny Joint Sanitary Authority at its office at 320 Fourth Avenue Tarentum Pennsylvania 15084 until 10:00 a.m. prevailing time on May 20 2026 at which time they will be opened and publicly read for the hauling and disposal of dewatered sludge produced at its Creighton Treatment Plant.

 

A copy of the Bid Documents may be obtained at the office of the       Engineer Gibson-Thomas           Engineering Co. Inc. P.O. Box 853 1004 Ligonier Street Latrobe Pennsylvania 15650 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. upon the payment of a non-refundable fee of $35.00. All Bid Proposals must be accompanied by a Bid Bond which shall have as security therefore either a Corporate Surety or a certified or cashiers check payable to the Upper           Allegheny Joint Sanitary Authority same to be in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total Base Bid Proposal submitted. All Corporate Sureties must be registered in the State of Pennsylvania.

 

No bid may be withdrawn for a          period of sixty (60) days from the date of the Bid Opening.

 

The Authority reserves the right to reject any and all Bid Proposals and to waive any informalities in the Bid Proposals or procedures.
