PUBLIC NOTICE 

Chapter 71 of the Department of      Environmental Protection Rules and Regulations requires that the sponsors of a proposed sewage collection and treatment facility project named Wellington Estates Sewage Treatment Plant Improvements located at 247 Murray Lane Export (Washington Township) Westmoreland County Pennsylvania notify and allow the general public to comment on the project proposing construction and modification of a wastewater treatment facility that will require DEP to modify a Clean Streams Law permit. The Sewage Treatment Plant will discharge to an unnamed tributary to Thorn Run (HQ-CWF). A 30-day comment period has been established to allow the general public to comment on the proposed revision. The general public may provide comments to Washington Township 285 Pine Run Church Road Apollo PA 15613 and review the proposed revision at the above township address. The municipality will address the comments before taking any action on the plan.
